A classical expression of defiance. According to Plutarch, Xerxes I—king of the Achaemenid Empire—demanded that the Spartans surrender their weapons and King Leonidas I responded with the phrase, Molon Labe. It is a well known and used phrase among the supporters of the Second Amendment as a standing reminder to those willing to infringe on those rights.
