Ammonoid
Devonian to Cretaceous, 400-68 million years ago, KT Extinction
Featuring a beautiful selection of colors, textures and designs, this ammonoid is a sight to behold. The larger opening section of the ammonoid features some of the remaining material that the shell would have been composed, and the central section as well. The mid area, although lacking some of the shell, does feature some gorgeous dedritic patterning that would have been the divisional septa of the shell's chambers. One of the chambers in the exposed septa section does feature some gorgeous geode-like crystalline growth, while some sections of the remaining shell feature irridescence.
