Hyphalosaurus lingyuanensis
Hyphalosaurus, meaning submerged lizard, this freshwater aquatic reptile is in a matrix of bedrock limestone. Found in the Yixian Formation in China, lingyuanensis reproduced by ovoviviparity, meaning that the eggs hatch within the parent and are born after full development and growth within the parent.
It's long and highly flexible neck and small flattened skull allowed it to capture small animals like arthropods and fish. Lingyuanensis was a good swimmer and hunter, agressivly hunting it's prey and striking with a sideways motion. Its barrel-shaped chest was comprised of thick, heavy rib bones, allowing it to stay submerged for long periods of time.
