Byzantine Bronze Processional Cross

ca. 10^th -12^th Century AD

Cross with discs at the edges. At the center is traces from a decoration which has been lost in antiquity. Drilled dots decorate the entire cross and two holes have been drilled to either side in ancient times to which items hung. At the bottom are remains of where the tang once was.
