Known for carrying a Mjölnir, mountain-crushing hammer, Thor was not only the most powerful son of Odin the All Father, but he was also the most popular god among the Scandinavians during the Viking Age. In fact, his brave and loyal exploits are celebrated in many myths and tales, far more than any other Norse god or goddess. The god of thunder, the sky, and agriculture from Norse mythology, Thor is depicted on this 2 Cedis legal-tender coin wearing a gigantic horned helmet and sporting a rich, full beard. This coin is part of a new series featuring Nordic Gods, among the most exciting and action-packed tales ever put to paper!
