in 1525, Ferdinand I of Austria inherited the Hungarian throne. Although the coins minted by Ferdinand in Hungary were gradually changed to match those of Austra, Ferdinand knew that certain symbols, in particular, those showing the Hungarian arms and especially the Madonna with child, (the patron of Hungary) could not be removed from coins without a rebellion by the people of Hungary.
Obverse: "Madonna& Child" in the center with mint mark: K B.
Legend: VNGARIE PATRONA
Reverse: Hungarian coat of arms in the center, with legend, name, and titles of the King, and date of minting. 
This coin was minted at the Kremnitz mint, the oldest working mint in the world today.
