The principality state of Cilicia, known as Cilician Armenia, was formed by Armenian Refugees fleeing the invasion of Armenia by Seljuk in 1080.

Levon I "The Magnificent"
Obverse: On one side this coin has Levon I, 10th Lord of Armenian Cilicia and "Lord of the Mountains", also known as Leo I, Levon II, Lewon II and as King Levon I "The Magnificent".
Reverse: Armenian coat of arms.
Dating from between 1198-1219 AD, these Silver Drachm are very well stuck and are in Superb Condition compared to what is normally encountered. Well centered and with nearly all detail showing these examples would make a great addition to any coin collection.
